MANCHESTER, NH – An AMR ambulance on a call was flagged down for an accident with serious injuries at Union and Hanover streets Thursday afternoon
Additional resources were immediately requested for two children injured after the electric bike they were on collided with a vehicle traveling south on Union Street at about 3 p.m.
Manchester fire dispatched an additional AMR ambulance and requested mutual aid from Bedford to respond due to no other ambulances from Manchester being available.
Manchester Police shut down the area to traffic while medics worked on the two children.
Both children were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, however they are both expected to survive.
