This weekend offers up a springtime smorgasbord of options for the weekend warriors brave enough to enjoy the sweet frenzy of freedom the next few days have in store. From carnival food, to coffee, to Greek food, and beyond, you just have to get out and taste it!

Concord Kiwanis Fair Spring Carnival, Everett Arena, Concord, NH โ€“ Rides, Games, Food, & Family Fun! This year’s Spring Carnival will take place Thursday, May 14 – Sunday, May 17. Thursday: 5 pm – 10 pm / Friday: 5 pm – 11 pm / Saturday: 12 pm – 11 pm / Sunday: 12 pm – 5pm. Tickets: 1 Ticket = $1 / 25 Tickets = $25 / 40 Tickets = $35. Cash and card accepted at ticket booths. Northeast Coffee Festival 2026, Concord, NH โ€“ The Northeast Coffee Festivalโ€™s mission is to celebrate the vibrant specialty coffee culture and the rich tradition of the Northeast by bringing together coffee enthusiasts, industry professionals, and local communities in a joyous and immersive two-day event. We strive to create a unique and inclusive platform where attendees can indulge in the art, science, and flavors of coffee, fostering a deeper appreciation for the craft and its impact on the region’s social, economic, and cultural fabric. The Coffee Educational Programming requires the purchase of a badge and will be hosted at the BNH Stage, Hotel Concord, and Arts Alley in downtown Concord. The FREE Community Market will take place on Friday, May 14 from 10 am – 8 pm and Saturday, May 15 from 8 am – 8 pm on S Main St, featuring Vendors, Live Music, Food Trucks, and more! Not Your Average Tea Party: Tea-Stained Art Social, Gnomies, Concord, NH โ€“ Join us for a playful 90-minute Tea-Stained Art Social at Gnomies. Sip tea while creating beautiful art on tea-stained papers using simple mixed-media techniques. Susan will share a few fascinating ideas inspired by Jungian symbolism and creative journaling to spark your imagination. Walk for Sight, New Hampshire State House, Concord, NH โ€“ Join us on Saturday, May 16 from 9 am – 1 pm for the 2026 Walk For Sight. Put on by Future In Sight, the Walk For Sight consists of a 1-mile loop through Downtown Concord, starting and ending at the NH State House. Weโ€™ll also have a DJ, exciting raffles, the Guiding Eyes puppy kissing booth, and fun photo opportunities! Future in Sight’s signature fundraising event invites clients, advocates, friends, family, and the community out to raise money for and awareness of its mission: to advance the independence of persons who are blind and visually impaired. 39th Spring Artisan Craft Fair, St. Peter’s Church, Londonderry, NH โ€“ As New Hampshire days grow longer, we look for signs of flowers beginning to bloom, birds returning north and we eagerly look forward to the 39th annual St. Peterโ€™s Spring Artisan Craft fair. This highly anticipated event will occur Saturday, May 16 from 9:30 am – 4 pm, rain or shine, on the grounds of St. Peterโ€™s Episcopal Church located on Mammoth Road at 3 Peabody Row Londonderry NH. Community Teach In, Manchester City Library – Winchell Room, Manchester, NH โ€“ Join us this Saturday, May 16 at 11 am at the Manchester City Library for a community teach in to discuss everything we can win by shutting down businesses as usual. We will discuss victories achieved through strikes and how we can use that momentum to fight for the rights we all deserve!

Cars and Claws: Spring 2026, Mountain Base Brewery, Goffstown, NH โ€“ If you haven’t been to a Cars and Claws before, here is the low down: We have a 4 hour rental of the entire brewery! Mountain Base Brewing has a taproom, outdoor patio complete with fire pits and yard games, and we will have a private space in the back of the brewery for the car show. Towards the end of the show there will be a chance to get a group photo for anyone in fur suit, and we will vote to figure out which car wins the Best in Show award! Walk Against Hunger, Veterans Park, Manchester, NH โ€“ The 36th Annual Walk Against Hunger will take place on Sunday, May 17 at 12 pm, with registration opening at 11 am. The event features a 2.5-mile loop through downtown Manchester, concluding back at the park for a celebration. The after-party will include a DJ, free ice cream, and more! Katie Skinner discusses Ada and the Moon, Balin Books, Nashua, NH โ€“ Join us for a special storytime with Katie Zito-Skinner as she reads from and discusses her book, Ada and the Moon. This gentle and uplifting story follows Ada, a thoughtful and curious young girl on a journey to understand what it truly means to be strong. Along the way, she learns how to use her voice, set boundaries, and stay true to herself – offering young readers a heartfelt message about kindness, confidence, and inner strength. Katie Zito-Skinner is an educator with seventeen years of experience working with preschool and kindergarten-age children. As a mother of three grown children, she has a deep appreciation for early childhood development.
