
MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Manchester Department of Public Works has announced road construction occurring during the week of Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 26 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Road Closures (expect detours):
- Union St. (Willow St. to Clay St.) – detour via Willow St. and Silver St., northbound lane will reopen at night
- Somerville St. (Beech St. to Maple St.) – detours via Silver St.
Partial Lane Closures or Lane Shifts – Traffic to be maintained through work zones
- Brown Ave. (Queen City Ave. to W. Baker St.) – northbound traffic to be detoured, southbound to remain open
- Cilley Rd., South Willow St., and Queen City Ave. – temporary lane impacts
- Maple St. (Somerville St. to Silver St.) – single lane closures, traffic shifted.
- Union St. East Back St. – Sagamore St. to Blodget St.
- Prospect St. – @ Maple St., and Cypress St. to Maple St.
- Wayne St. – near 88 McGregor St. (side of CMC Hospital)
- Cartier St. – Putnam St. to Sullivan St.
- Amory St. – Reed St. to Alsace St.
- Montgomery St. – Bremer St. to Mason St.
- Penacook St. – Elm St. to Elm St. East back St.
- Lowell St. – Chestnut St. to Kosciusko St.
- McGregor St. – Foundry St. to West Bridge St.
Temporary Lane Impacts – Traffic to be maintained through work zones
- Wilson St. (Hayward St. to Valley St.) – sidewalk to be impacted
- Intersection of Queen City Ave and Brown Ave – Temporary 5-10 minute all traffic stop due to blasting operations. Traffic to follow police detail directive.
