As parts of New Hampshire’s economy begin returning to something like business as usual, one key piece of the puzzle has been child care: will parents be able to find someone to watch their kids when they go back to work?
The state is providing quarantine hotel rooms for 10 unsheltered persons for both those who have exhibited symptoms themselves and those who have come into close contact with someone who has. The state’s plan aims to reduce the possibility of a shelter outbreak.
Of these models, the one that has been mostly widely cited nationally is the University of Washington/IHME model. This model uses information based on the trajectory of the virus in places where the virus has already peaked to predict when and how it will peak elsewhere.
