The Executive Director of Intown Manchester has resigned effective Dec. 31, 2021, following several months of scrunity from the Board of Mayor and Aldermen over the non-profit’s lax financial reporting, resulting in a tug-of-war over money due to the non-profit for services rendered to the city.

In what turns out to be a convoluted meta scam attempt, on Monday Attorney General John M. Formella issued a consumer alert warning New Hampshire residents about a recent report of scammers sending a fraudulent letter to a citizen purporting to be from the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, trying to extort money and gift cards.
