Manchester Police responded to the reported shooting which happened in the area of Bridge and  Elm streets on July 16 at about 8:25 p.m.  

Through the course of the investigation, a suspect was identified as Elias Dawley, 28, of Greenfield. The victim said he had gotten into an altercation with Dawley inside a first-floor bedroom, and Dawley pointed a gun at him. The victim was able to run from the building. However, Dawley was believed to still be inside, along with several other people.  

At approximately 3:09 p.m., a police officer was dispatched to the area of Elm and Brook streets for reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.  The Manchester Police Department located an accident involving a white Mercedes sedan and a Kawasaki motorcycle. 

At around 5:30 a.m., police say a male walked into the store, went behind the counter, pulled out a knife, and  demanded all the money from the cash register. Fearing for his life, the clerk opened the drawer, and the robber grabbed cash from it before fleeing the store on foot.

A pregnant woman was wounded late Friday night when police say a stray bullet fired from outside entered her Bell Street apartment. Her unborn child appears to be unharmed, police said.

Four men were arrested late Friday and two police officers were injured after a chaotic scene unfolded at the Beech Street 7-Eleven, prompted by a report of a robbery in progress.

On Tuesday, Manchester Police arrested 19-year-old Manchester resident Hunter Benoit following a multi-month investigation and several outstanding warrants.

According to police on May 27, 2022, at approximately 9:04 p.m. there was a report of an accident at the intersection of Valley and Union streets involving a motorcycle.  

On March 1, 2022, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Manchester Police were dispatched to the Bank of New Hampshire following a reported robbery.

Police have arrested a man on charges that over the course of several weeks he allegedly stole thousands of dollars using stolen credit and debit cards in local ATMs.
