Arriving officers spoke to witnesses who said they heard what sounded like gunshots in a parking lot to the south of 295 Lowell St, adjacent to Dutton St. Afterward, they saw a male leave the area. Officers did locate a spent shell casing in the parking lot.
A Manchester man is charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault after a woman came forward accusing him of assaulting her when she was a high school student.
Responding officers learned that the two vehicles were traveling on South Main when they collided head-on. The 30-year-old male driver in the car sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The 52-year-old male bus driver was not hurt.
Two people were arrested not long after a report came in of a stolen car on Pine Street.
At 11:55 p.m. on Feb. 19 patrol officers were dispatched to the 603 Bar & Grill, 1087 Elm St., for a report of a shooting.
Police arrested Johaly Maria, 22, in connection with a shooting on Monday.
A student was injured and another charged with assault following a fight at Memorial High School Monday that required school officials to issue a “stay in place” order.
A city woman is wanted in connection with a stabbing Sunday in which another woman was injured.
In recent weeks there has been an uptick in car thefts throughout the city. This incident is a good reminder to the public to lock your car doors.
