Manchester Police have made a third arrest in connection with a string of jewelry store thefts that happened last month. 

Manchester Police have made arrests in connection with two jewelry store thefts that happened last month.

Through the course of the investigation, police have identified the suspect as Akim Alleyne, 33, of Manchester, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Police believe they may be looking for a single suspect in both thefts.

The robber in both incidents was described as a white male with glasses who pulled a revolver on employees before fleeing with cash.

On November 12, 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Manchester Officers responded to the PriceRite on Lincoln Street for a stolen car report. The victim told officers that he left his car in the parking lot with his 9-month-old puppy inside.  He left the engine running, according to police.

On October 25, 2023, at approximately 3:55 p.m., officers from Manchester Police Department responded to the area of Union and Harvard streets for reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.   

On September 30, 2023, at approximately 5:15 a.m. Manchester Police responded to the area of Elm and  Hayward streets for a report of a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian. 

Police have released the identity of a woman whose body was found along the shore of the Merrimack River on Sunday.
