More than 100 youths gathered at Plymouth State University in Plymouth on August 14 for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS) Division for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) annual Youth Summit.
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) advises consumers not to drink Brookvale Pines Farm raw milk with “best if used by” dates through March 22, 2025, as it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. This advisory comes after the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets, and Food notified DHHS that a cow at the farm was diagnosed with Listeria infection.
The carrots, which were sold under brand names including 365, Good & Gather, Nature’s Promise, and Trader Joe’s, have been linked to a multistate outbreak of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli O121:H19, a type of E. coli bacteria.
