New Hampshire ended their season series against Reading on a high note, and starter Jimmy Robbins (W, 1-2) led the way with 5.0 shutout innings and nine strikeouts. The Fisher Cats (23-40, 54-78) won, 5-0, over the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies, 30-33, 59-73) on Sunday night at FirstEnergy Stadium.
For the third time in five games, New Hampshire and Reading needed extra innings to decide a winner at FirstEnergy Stadium. Again, the Fisher Cats (22-40, 53-78) went ahead in the extra frame but fell, 5-4, to the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies, 30-32, 59-72) on Saturday night.

Tonight’s game between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up on tomorrow, September 7 at 4:45 p.m. as part of a doubleheader.
