Nearly 500 vehicles were pulled over during a multi-town speed and distracted driving enforcement initiative along and around Interstate 93. The effort, which was conducted from Saturday, Feb. 24 to Friday, March 1, included additional patrols throughout Merrimack and Belknap counties, from the town of Boscawen extending north to the town of Plymouth.

The vehicle hit the center median Jersey barrier before ricocheting back across all lanes of traffic and striking another vehicle.  It then continued into the woods where it struck several trees and caught on fire.  The three occupants were able to escape from the vehicle and one was transported to a hospital with significant but non-life-threatening injuries.  There were no injuries to the occupant of the other vehicle that was struck.

New Hampshire State Police Troop A was notified of a single-vehicle crash on Route 101 Westbound in the area of mile marker 104.0, in the town of Auburn on Nov. 1 just after 7 a.m. Responding Troopers located a 2011 Cadillac CTS sedan off to the right side of the roadway, and into the adjacent wood line. Additionally, the vehicle had come to a final resting position on its roof.
