The City of Manchester announced the installation of 7 new trash cans in the Center City.
With the recent rise in gas, oil, and electric costs, Mayor Joyce Craig is urging eligible Manchester residents apply for fuel assistance funded by the federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and administered locally by Southern New Hampshire Services. In addition to fuel assistance, eligible residents can concurrently apply for electric assistance, also administered by SNHS.
On September 7th, the Director of Homelessness Initiatives resigned from her position, and since that time, I, alongside City departments, non-profits, and national partners have been working together to determine the best way for the City to move forward.
