Bitter cold for the last day of February with highs in the mid-20s with temperatures feeling like 10. Tonight will be frigid with a low of 3 but feeling like -6.
More sun and some warmer temperatures are in store for Sunday with the wind making it feel like 27. A strong cold front will cross New Hampshire this evening with gusty winds and heavy snow showers or squalls. Wind chills will be well below zero overnight.
Sunny and seasonable temperatures are expected today with highs around 32.
The snowstorm will produce snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Therefore expectations are for roads conditions to deteriorate rapidly through the morning into the afternoon. Snowfall will start to taper off this evening and will come to an end early tonight.
Temperatures today will be 30-40 degrees colder than yesterday. High pressure will allow for tranquil weather with much lighter winds compared to yesterday.
Plan on moderate to heavy snow coinciding with the Friday morning commute. Travel will be extremely difficult and dangerous. Snow will also be falling for the evening commute.
Today will be mostly cloudy with rain showers spreading in by evening with highs in the upper 40s. Steady rain with gusty winds tonight the temperatures staying in the 40s. Tomorrow increasing sunshine and warmer with highs in the 60s.
A rather pleasant day is in store for Presidents’ Day as the southwest flow brings in milder air with temperatures in the low 50s.
High pressure builds in for today and will remain centered to our south through the day. This will allow for generally lighter winds compared to yesterday that will shift out of the southwest during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-30s with a mostly sunny sky.
Low pressure and the attendant cold front will move across New Hampshire this afternoon. This system will bring snow showers across the area around midday to early afternoon with a secondary line of snow showers or snow squalls moving through with the cold front late afternoon into the evening.
