June is a great time to get out and fish, and Granite State anglers will find ample opportunities for trout, salmon, bass, and panfish.Â
The rivers are still running at or above normal and the trout bite should improve with cooling temperatures.
Most streams are running at or well above normal for this time of year and lake levels are likely at maximum. The rains seem to have turned on the fish so now is a good time to get out there.
With the ‘dog days’ of summer upon us, the fishing is great everywhere you throw a line.
We are in the mandatory catch-and-release season for bass (May 15 – June 15), and fish are cruising the shallows looking for mates or are on beds already.
