On Thursday Dec. 10 at approximately 10 p.m. police officers responded to the 7-Eleven, 242 Beech St., for a reported armed robbery. The clerk reported that at approximately 8:36 p.m. a robber entered the store demanding money. The clerk told police he did not immediately call because he thought a by-passer called 911.
Police determined the alleged robber is the husband of a former 7-Eleven employee.
The clerk told police when the robber threatened her with a three-inch knife, she scared him off with a bigger blade.
Police seek the public’s help in identifying a robber who entered the 7-Eleven, 111 Webster St., at approximately 12:20 a.m. Friday and left with cash.
