The fast-moving COVID-19 pandemic has claimed New Hampshire’s bar and restaurant industry at least until April 7 as Gov. Chris Sununu, by tweet, ordered their closure effective at the end of business Monday night.
The number of confirmed cases in NH is now 17.
None of the 13 NH cases have required hospitalization.
During Sunday’s press conference Chan said the number of confirmed cases in New Hampshire had risen to 13, nearly double Friday’s announcement of 7 confirmed cases. He also said 380 people have been tested in New Hampshire, with 275 of those having negative results. There are 100 test results pending, he said.
A man from Rockingham County who traveled recently to Europe is the state’s sixth presumptive positive case of COVID-19.
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services say two new presumptive positive test results for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, have been detected.
