Easterseals NH & VT announced that its Board of Directors has approved its slate of officers and members for fiscal year 2026, reflecting strong leadership continuity and sustained commitment to the organization’s mission across New Hampshire and Vermont.
aul Lavertu has been appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO), leading all information technology functions for Easterseals NH & VT, including IT strategy, technology roadmap, and digital transformation efforts.
Following nearly 30 years of service in the U.S. Army, NH National Guard, and as a national director for military counseling services, Ana McKenna has been named Interim Director of Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus in Franklin.
Four members of the campus’s leadership team — including its head, former Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg — have resigned in protest in recent days, citing a range of concerns, including mismanagement and poor treatment by Easterseals. And some veterans living on the campus allege that Easterseals has prioritized the site’s money-making hotel and conference center that share the site, and has disregarded their needs.
A military Veteran, Aldenberg was a natural choice for Easterseals NH & VT to get the campus operational through the first critical steps. Having achieved this, Aldenberg will now transition responsibilities to new leadership and will remain engaged to support continuity and a smooth transition.
On Thursday, September 18, Easterseals NH officially opened the state’s first Military & Veterans Campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that brought together over 1,000 Veterans, service members, dignitaries, community leaders, and families from across New Hampshire.
