The median sales price for a single-family home in New Hampshire in May was $540,000, according to the New Hampshire Association of Realtors monthly market report. That’s up from $525,000 a year ago and $528,000 in April. Median means that half of the homes in May closed for less, and half for more.
Sales were down slightly, but inventory inched up for single-family home sales in New Hampshire in April.
New Hampshire’s residential housing market loosened up a little in 2024, with both sales of existing single-family homes, as well as condo-townhouses, up 3.6% from 2023.
November single-family home prices in New Hampshire were the lowest they’ve been since March, and, as the year draws to a close, sales and listings are on track to do better than they did in the state in 2023.
Housing sale indicators are up in New Hampshire from a year ago, including inventory, which while still low, is on a three-month run of being higher than it had been in nearly five years.
Home prices continued to rise and the ability of buyers to afford one continued to drop in New Hampshire in June, but the silver lining is that inventory is up slightly, according to the New Hampshire Association of Realtors monthly market report.
