The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation board of directors on Wednesday announced that Shawn V. Morehead has been selected to be the Foundation’s next president and CEO. Morehead will succeed Richard Ober of Dublin, who will retire in July after 16 years as president and CEO of New Hampshire’s statewide community foundation.

Initial funding for the initiative comes from the BIA, the Charitable Foundation and Fidelity Investments. The partnership is seeking additional funders to support the initiative.

With New Hampshire ranking 49th in access to treatment for substance addiction, and heroin use at epidemic proportions, Granite State residents have joined together to support their own.
