Bernie Sanders spoke to a full-house of business leaders during a Politics and Eggs event at the Executive Court in Manchester.
With the Democratic debate scheduled for Dec. 19 at Saint Anselm College, there is no doubt the Red Arrow will be jammed with tourists all weekend. They will come and they will wait in line for a coveted booth, or longer for the right number of counter seats in a row for their giddy group. They will marvel at the Mug O’Bacon and gawk at the photos hanging on the wall of fame.
Candidates will discuss what it would look like if they hosted a party. When guests arrive for the event, the candidate’s curated musical selections will be playing, and they will talk about what they would serve for food and drinks, who their co-host might be, their choice of activities for their get together (board games, sports on TV, etc.), what their guest list would look like, and topics of conversation with their guests.
The Social Security Summit is part of AARP’s campaign called Take a Stand – www.2016takeastand.org — which asks Presidential candidates to Take a Stand for Social Security by offering their plans to update this critical program.
