The Pioneers bid farewell to the 2022-’23 Gatorade New Hampshire High School basketball player of the year, Tyler Bike, who transferred to Phillips Exeter Academy, as well as his father, Keith, who coached the Pioneers to four years of marked success, including the 2022 Division-I state championship.
With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror and Christmas and other seasonal holidays just weeks away, coaches and student athletes at Trinity High School may very well be feeling festive about beginning their holiday sports seasons as well. Here’s a glance at some of the Pioneers competing this season.
After coaching several other New Hampshire high school programs up from mediocrity to contention, Mark Papp took the reins at Trinity this season, inheriting a team that won back-to-back Division-III championships in 2020 and 2021 before moving up to Division-II last year.
The project seeks to unite the school with St. Joseph Regional Junior High School in one state-of-the-art location.
The Trinity High School athletics program has a long history of winter sports success that this year’s teams will look to continue when they take to the ice and indoor track this season.
Superintendent David Thibault cited privacy issues that “prevent us from providing certain student information,” however, he added in Saturday’s statement that the young person involved “is no longer a student at Trinity High School.”
Expectations are frequently high for Trinity’s varsity high school boys and girls basketball teams and this season is no different as the Pioneers prepare for another season of hopeful success on the New Hampshire hardwood.
