MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Acupuncture Studio is offering free 5-Needle Protocol (5NP) ear acupuncture to federal workers who are affected by the current government shutdown. The treatments are available every Tuesday evening from 4 to 6 p.m.at their Manchester location.
The studio, located at the East Side Plaza, is extending this offer to provide support and solidarity during a time of uncertainty. The 5NP ear acupuncture technique, also known as NADA or AcuDetox, is widely recognized as a non-pharmaceutical method for reducing stress, anxiety, and fostering greater resilience.
“We recognize that a government shutdown creates tremendous stress and uncertainty for federal employees,” said Andy Wegman, Executive Director. “Self-care during this challenging time isn’t a luxury; it’s essential. By reducing stress, people can better maintain their health and emotional well-being, allowing them to return to work stronger when the government reopens.”The community-based treatments are provided by dedicated volunteers who are certified by the State of New Hampshire as Acupuncture Detoxification Specialists (ADS).
