Back in early January I wrote that Nashua’s Spyglass Brewing was preparing brand new and much larger space near exit 1. Today I can report that the beer gods have smiled upon us: their new space is now fully up and running, brewing is happening, and the bar and kitchen are open to serve the public.

The march will leave Hartnett parking lot, 99 Lowell St., Manchester at 2:30 pm for the Bridge Street bridge, and return to NEP House of Praise around 3:30 p.m. for a speaking event which will feature stories from those who were leaders in the movement for voting rights, every day people who witnessed the Civil Rights Movement, and the challenges still facing the movement today.

The 2023 Concord School District Youth Art Month Show is happening now at Kimball Jenkins, through April 12. The opening reception will take place March 9 from 5-6:30 p.m. and will feature live music from local high school bands, light food and fare and hundreds of works of art by Concord youth and young adults. It is free to attend the exhibition and reception.

A giant sycamore stands tall over the courtyard of the Kimball Jenkins where I am attending a life drawing class. At the end of the drive sits the classroom, an old carriage house converted into an art salon. I join about fifteen other people inside where we grab snacks and finger curiously an array of art supplies laid out on tables.
