The concert is set for Thursday, October 6, at 7:30 p.m. and will include Irish songs, sacred hymns, and popular standards. The backdrop will be the refurbished cathedral, after more than $750,000 in renovations completed less than two months ago.

The atmosphere outside the Expo Center in Manchester next to the Doubletree Hilton hotel on Saturday morning was bursting with activity. A line wound through the entrance three to four rows deep. The attendance was far greater than Friday afternoon and evening, as many people sought to get their tickets at the moment. Convivial conversation drowned out almost all other noise as attendees waited patiently in line.

The Monadnock Region is bringing special attention to cultural diversity in the month of September, 2022. To support the Keene International Festival on September 24th, area businesses and nonprofits are working on a collaborative celebration of Diversity in the 603. Organized by Keene Immigrant and Refugee Partnership (KIRP) and Project Home, and the Historical Society of Cheshire County this celebration will include photographs, stories, presentations, and conversations that will bring understanding and welcome to our new American neighbors.

Local artists Jozimar Matimano and Fallon Rae will be hanging select pieces of their work at City Hall Friday as part of Manchester Art Commission’s ongoing Art on the Wall series. Their work will be available for viewing during business hours through the end of the month.

The Currier Museum has completed the reinstallation of many of its galleries, including the entire second floor. The new galleries develop themes which cut across European, American, and Asian cultures, and combine historic and contemporary works. New acquisitions provide delightful surprises.
