They urged the city to quickly facilitate Hundred Nights’ move to a pair of adjacent Water Street properties, which city records show the organization has not yet purchased despite having received a land-use variance in September to manage a homeless shelter on the site.

Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire will be able to house about 25 families experiencing homelessness once this project is complete. The site for this new facility will be located at the former Infant Jesus School which closed in July 2019 after operating in the city for 110 years. Renovations are expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2020.

Always a bit of a long-shot candidate for the county sheriff’s position, DiMezzo garnered 7,950 votes to Democratic incumbent Eli Rivera’s 27,674, according to the unofficial vote tallies. DiMezzo, who ran and lost in 2018 while running as a Libertarian, said this is her last run for sheriff.
