Manchester Police Officerโs Eric Joyal and Clifford Ellston, of the Patrol Division bicycle unit observed two men, later identified as Floyd and Bussiere,ย behind the Beech Street School on May 31ย at approximately 1:20 a.m. The officers approached the two and asked them to explain why they were on school grounds in the early morning hours.
Floyd told police they were waiting for someone in a nearby porta-potty. Police noted that Bussiere placed his hand inside of his cargo pocket beforeย running from the area.

The two officers chasedย Bussiere and observed hm throw an object from the same pocket he had been reaching into before he fled. Officer Joyal caught up to Bussiereย near the concession stand and took him down in an attempt to arrest him.ย Bussiere remained combative and failed to remove his hands from the underside of his stomach as he lay prone on the ground, according to police. After a brief struggle, Bussiere ultimately placed his hands behind his back. He was takenย into custody and turned over to the transport wagon as the officers searched the area for the item he threw during the foot chase. Officer Ian Fleming conducted a search of Bussiere and located two syringes, a small bag containing trace amounts of cocaine and a set of brass knuckles.
Bussiere was charged withย possession of a controlled drug (felony); falsifying physical evidence (felony); possession of a dangerous weapon; and resisting arrest/detention. He was also charged with violation of bail conditions related to aย September 16, 2014 court order.
