Upcoming NH DOT Ten-Year Plan hearings will be open for public testimony


CONCORD, NH – The Governor’s Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT), which is made up of the five Executive Councilors and the Commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), has scheduled public hearings across the state in September and October. The hearings will begin on Thursday, September 11, 2025, with the schedule for the first two weeks listed below. 

  • Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 7 pm, Central School, 70 Post Rd, Greenland; 
  • Monday, September 15, 2025, at 6:30 pm, Claremont Savings Bank- Community Center, 152 South St, Claremont; 
  • Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 6 pm, Manchester Community College, 1066 Front St, Manchester; 
  • Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 6 pm, Brentwood Recreation Dept, 190 NH-125, Brentwood. 

The purpose of these Hearings is to receive public comments/testimony on transportation projects and priorities included in the draft 2027-2036 Ten-Year Transportation Improvement Plan, as recommended by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to GACIT.  Those not able to attend the meetings can submit written testimony within 10 days of the completion of the Public Hearings. 

Copies of documents related to the Ten-Year Transportation Improvement Plan (2027-2036) are available for review on the NHDOT website, or by contacting the Bureau of Planning & Community Assistance at the Department of Transportation (603) 271-3344.
