he Governor’s Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT), which is made up of the five Executive Councilors and the Commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), has scheduled public hearings across the state in September and October. The hearings will begin on Thursday, September 11, 2025, with the schedule for the first two weeks included here.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has opened Round 5 of the Transportation Alternative Program on October 25, 2024. The overall purpose of the Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) is to foster non-motorized transportation infrastructure that is safe and accessible.

A large section of the F.E. Everett Turnpike is in the process of being transformed.  The State of NH Department of Transportation has designed and awarded multiple contracts to widen portions of the roadway and replace and rehabilitate bridges in the 12-mile stretch from Nashua to Bedford.

Weather permitting, the supermove will begin at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, and is planned to park on NH 101 in Bedford at approximately 3 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. The move will continue Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 9 p..m with the intention of arriving at the destination at 4 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
