MANCHESTER, NH – Dana Dexter earned 51 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s primary and will advance to the November 4 general election for Ward 3 Alderman.
Dexter, a Manchester Millyard resident and public servant with more than 20 years in New Hampshire law enforcement, said the outcome reflects Ward 3’s call for practical leadership over politics.
“I am humbled by the strong support from Ward 3 voters,” Dexter said. “Thank you to the volunteers who poured their energy into this campaign, to my family and friends for their constant support, and to the poll workers who made this election possible. I am not a politician, I am a public servant, and tonight’s vote shows that residents want results that improve daily life.”
Dexter also noted the respectful tone of the Ward 3 primary. “I want to recognize the camaraderie shown by all of the candidates during this race,” he said. “That is how local elections should be, neighbors coming together to share ideas about our community’s future.”
Dexter’s campaign emphasizes five priorities: safer streets, fiscal responsibility while respecting the tax cap, modern infrastructure and walkability, public schools that prepare students for success, and vibrant neighborhoods that strengthen downtown.
“Tonight’s primary result is just the beginning,” Dexter said. “We will build on this momentum and deliver real progress in November.”
The general election for Ward 3 Alderman will take place Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
