Shaheen nominates Granite State students for United States service academies


WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), a senior member of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, is announcing the nominations of 46 New Hampshire students for acceptance to the United States Service Academies. The nominees will now be considered by the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy for appointment to the Class of 2031.

“These exemplary Granite State students have worked to achieve academic excellence and have demonstrated their commitment to the service of our nation through their desire to attend one of the United States Service Academies,” said Senator Shaheen. “I am excited to see what these young men and women accomplish in their paths ahead and have no doubt that they will make New Hampshire proud.”
