MANCHESTER, NH โ A Goffstown man is under indictment on 56 felony charges accusing him of manufacturing and distributing child sexual abuse videos and images.
Peter Mattson, 60, of 11 East Union St., Goffstown, was indicted on 28 counts each of manufacturing child sexual abuse images and distribution of child sexual abuse images.
A Hillsborough County Superior Court Northern District grand jury handed up the indictments on May 13, 2026. They were made public earlier this week.
The first video/image was made on Nov. 1, 2014, with the recordings continuing for another four years to April 30, 2018, according to the indictments.
Mattson is accused of manufacturing 26 videos and two images.
The distribution indictments allege he โknowingly published or otherwiseโ made the videos, depicting a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct, available two years later, between Feb. 15, 2020 and March 1, 2020.
The charges are special felonies with each charge carrying a maximum sentence of 15 to 30 years upon conviction and a $4,000 fine. As a result, if Mattson is convicted of multiple counts, he faces the possibility of a decades-long sentence in the New Hampshire State Prison if convicted.
