
The city employees who keep Manchester running every day are standing with Dana Dexter.
MANCHESTER, NH โ The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 298, representing over 225 City of Manchester employees, has endorsed Dana Dexter for Ward 3 Alderman, citing his respect for public service and commitment to fair, effective city government.
โOur members take pride in keeping this city running โ from maintaining roads and parks to caring for residentsโ health and safety,โ said Karen Sutkus, president of AFSCME Local 298. โDana Dexter understands what it means to serve the public and lead with respect. He values the people who keep Manchester strong, and we are proud to stand with him.โ
AFSCME Local 298โs members include employees across key departments such as Health, Public Works (Highway, Parks and Recreation, and Environmental Protection Division), Facilities, Central Fleet, School Nurses, and Manchester Housing Authority Maintenance.
Dexter, a public safety leader with more than two decades of experience in New Hampshire law enforcement, previously served as a union president representing fellow officers in collective bargaining and workplace matters. His campaign emphasizes public safety, modern infrastructure, fiscal responsibility, and respect for both city employees and taxpayers.
