Alleged drug dealer arrested in Rite Aid parking lot with 24 grams of heroin

MANCHESTER, NH โ€“ An alleged heroinย dealer was arrested May 5 in a drug storeย parking lot after a special investigation unit had reason to believe he was on his way to Massachusetts to pick up more heroin.

Terrence Jackson, 22, of Manchester, was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute; violation of bail. He was ย additionally charged with sale of a controlled drug, stemming from a previous undercover drug buy.

At about 6:30 p.m. the Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division, Special Investigations Unit, stopped Jackson in the parking lot ofย Rite Aid, 270 ย Mammoth Road.

Detectives had an ongoing case with Jacksonย and had received a tip that heย would be traveling to Lawrence, Mass., so he could pick up someย heroin before returning to Manchester.

Detectiveโ€™s set-up surveillance on Jackson and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the pharmacy parking lot. He was operating a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta.

Jackson was arrested without incident and taken to police headquarters. A search during theย arrest revealed Jackson was in possession of 24.5 grams of heroin.

Police confirmed that Jackson was the victim of a 2013 shooting on Orange Street.

The sale of a controlled drug charge stemmed from an April 15ย incident where Jacksonย allegedly sold one gram of heroin to an undercover officer. He was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 6, 2015.
