Alleged Manchester graffiti artist apprehended

MANCHESTER, N.H. โ€“ Police have arrested a man allegedly painting the word โ€œBDUBโ€ on structures throughout the city.

On Friday, 34-year-old Robert Watson was arrested on two counts of criminal mischief.

Police allege that Watson has been using the โ€œBDUBโ€ tag since 2017, where it was first found on 1031 Gold St. The latest occurrence of the tag was found at 2 Keller St. at Team Nissan, where it was found on the back of one of their buildings.

The removal of that graffiti cost $400.

Authorities also found the โ€œBDUBโ€ tag on a bridge pillar over the Merrimack River in April as well as other locations in the city.

Watson was released on personal recognizance bail and has a trial date of Nov. 26, 2019.
