
MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police Department is again participating in National Night Out Aug. 5 from 5-8 p.m. at Hartnett Lot, located at Chestnut and Concord streets (next to Victory Park).
There will be a cookout, ice cream trucks and more than 45 community-based support service providers with tables for visitors and residents to learn more about.
Manchester Police Department will showcase its specialty units and divisions to include some of the community favorites, like the Mounted Unit, the Drone unit, and the canine unit.
Manchester Fire Department will also be on site with a Jaws of Life demonstration as well as the fire prevention unit to showcase some of the supports that our First Responders have here in Manchester.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August (Texas and select areas celebrate on the first Tuesday in October). Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.
