MANCHESTER, NH — Autopsy results issued by the state’s chief medical examiner late Monday indicate that Denise Robert died of a single gunshot wound following a shooting late Aug. 30 on Ray Street. The manner of death was a homicide.
The AG’s office has also released a photograph of Robert taken by store surveillance cameras at Walmart to show her attire just hours before she was murdered – a dark long-sleeved striped shirt with a white belt, white athletic shoes and white shorts, in an effort to help root out any information that may help in thee investigation.
Robert’s routine Sunday included a trip to the Executive Health Club, where she was a longtime member, according to gym owner Tricia Benton.
“We are deeply saddened and shocked by this senseless tragedy. Denise was a long-standing, valued member of the Executive and she will be missed by our employees, as well as many of our members. We extend our deepest sympathy to her family and friends,” Benton said Monday as the news circulated throughout the community.
