Even the best teams lose sometimes, but while the New Hampshire Fisher Cats have been one of the best teams in the Eastern League this season, they generally haven’t lost by much when they’ve lost. However, there are some exceptions. Thursday night was a big one.

And the final score from Harrisburg on Mother’s Day: New Hampshire Fisher Cats 7, Harrisburg Senators 3. Oh wait, never mind. That was the score from the ENTIRE day. The Fisher Cats instead split their Sunday doubleheader with the Senators, winning up Saturday’s makeup game 6-1, followed by a 2-1 Harrisburg victory in the originally scheduled contest.

Jordan Romano pitched another strong game while Cavan Biggio hit his second home run in as many days in New Hampshire’s 5-0 victory over Harrisburg on Friday.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats left Manchester on Wednesday with uncharacteristically quiet bats. Those bats got loud again on Thursday night, even if they weren’t loud enough.

T.J Zeuch got his first taste of the Eastern League on Tuesday night, but it turned out to be a bitter taste compared to the Florida State League. Just hours after being announced as the newest member of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Zeuch was saddled with the loss in New Hampshire 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Portland Sea Dogs.
