The cylinders are clicking for what looks like a reborn Saint Anselm football squad, churning out a second straight victory with a 50-10 statement win over Franklin Pierce.

Saint Anselm fell to 0-5 on the year following a 55-6 drubbing at the hands of Tiffin on Saturday. 

Saint Anselm jumped out to an early 7-0 lead thanks to a two-yard run by senior back Nick Fiorillo (Westford, Mass). However, the Setters answered with the game’s next five touchdowns.

As a team, one area of Friday’s game which needs correction was third-down conversions, something that every football team knows that if you cannot convert on third down, your team gets stuck in the mud for getting down the field.
