In 10 days time participants communicated online and by phone, sharing crochet patterns, taking on tasks, such as making the labels, and spreading the word to other Facebook groups, including the Things I Remember Growing Up in Manchester group, which is more than 7,000 strong, all working together for a Scarves in the Park initiative to help the homeless.
