As the three intruders were leaving, one of them allegedly grabbed the victim’s 2-year-old child and fled the apartment. The man ran after the suspects and was able to pull the child free as they men were getting into a vehicle, police said.
The boys were getting themselves back and forth to school by bus at Weston Elementary for months. Police say on Saturday just before 11 p.m. a report of an unarmed robbery came in at the convenience store. Police arrived to find that the robbery suspect, identified as Samuel Robie, was being restrained in the parking lot by the store clerk and a customer.
