Mayor Jay Ruais will be holding a Ward 11 Town Hall on Wednesday, March 13th at Gossler Park Elementary School, 145 Parkside Avenue from 6-7 p.m. The Aldermen and School Board Members representing Ward 11 have also been invited.
In a collaborative effort to engage local youth and promote community spirit, the Office of Youth Services (OYS) joined hands with MY TURN to organize a three-on-three basketball tournament over the February vacation. The event, tailored for middle and high school-aged youth in the Manchester region, saw enthusiastic participation from 42 energetic players.
There will be no trash or recycling collection on Monday, February 19th, in observance of President’s Day. As a result, all collection of trash and recycling may be delayed by 24 hours for the remainder of the week.

The Manchester Health Department announced today that the public beach at Crystal Lake is closed to wading or swimming due to elevated levels of cyanobacteria. The elevated cyanobacteria levels were identified in water samples taken on September 7, 2023.

The elevated bacteria levels were identified in water samples taken on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Water samples taken at other locations on Crystal Lake did not find elevated levels of E. coli bacteria.
