The settlement requires Boston to pay $188.6 million to 47 states and the District of Columbia to resolve allegations that it deceptively marketed transvaginal surgical mesh devices to patients. New Hampshire’s share of the settlement is $1,368,328.

Each year Temple Israel Manchester holds its signature event, Schmooze & Booze, to raise money and bring the community together for a fun night of dancing and mingling, entertainment and food trucks. Although the pandemic got in the way last year of what is always a good time out with friends, for this year event organizers have come up with a way to keep the party going in 2021.

I’ve waited this long, so I guess it’s just another day in pandemic history. But the state’s highly-promoted Vaccine & Immunization Interface (VINI) is down for the count as of Monday morning. This day those people age 50-64 were supposed to be able to sign up and make an appointment.

As we prepare for these holidays and observances, it is time for people of faith to stand with all working people and oppose NH S.B. 61, this year’s version of the so-called “right to work” bill in New Hampshire which, despite its deceptive name, it not about providing access to work for anyone.
