The Manchester Health Department notified the Manchester School District that it has identified clusters of COVID-19 cases in city schools for the first time. A cluster is defined as three or more cases in the same classroom or group during the same timeframe.Â

There have now been 7,652 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in New Hampshire.
School begins Wednesday, Sept. 9. The first day will be a remote day for all. Sept. 10 is the first day that students will return to school buildings. Students in Kindergarten and first grade can begin with the hybrid option if families choose it, while students in second through 12th grades will begin the year fully remote.Â
