Daily update on COVID-19 from the state health department.
There have now been 819 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in New Hampshire.
Four additional deaths related to COVID-19 were announced, three males and one female, all 60 years of age or older.
On Monday, April 6, 2020, DHHS announced 46 new positive test results for COVID-19. There have now been 715 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in New Hampshire. Several of the new cases are still under investigation.
Six new COVID-19-related hospitalizations were reported; thus far, 92 (14 percent) of the 669 positive cases have been hospitalized.
Both deaths announced Saturday by DHHS were males over 60 years of age who lived in Hillsborough County.

Included in the new cases are 4 people from Manchester and one male under age 18.
On Sunday, March 22, 2020, DHHS announced 13 new positive test results for COVID-19. There have now been 78 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in New Hampshire. The new cases are all adults, including nine males and four females.

Given the nationwide shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other testing supplies, healthcare providers in New Hampshire must preserve the State’s existing inventory of these materials to care for patients who will develop severe COVID-19 illness, as well as exposed health care providers and exposed first responders.
