Attorney General Gordon MacDonald was officially nomination to serve as the next Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court during the June 5 Executive Council meeting.

The agreements will provide cost-of-living increases to employees and make changes to certain policies that will reduce the administrative burden on the State and better align work incentives.
“It is unacceptable that New Hampshire businesses may be forced to act as tax collectors for other states. We will not sit idly by while Washington, D.C., and sales-tax reliant states try to raid the pockets of Granite Staters and increase the price of retail goods in New Hampshire,” said Sununu.
The position is expected to help close gaps in NH’s child welfare system and improve outcomes for children in crisis.
The announcement is part of Gov. Sununu’s “Cutting Regs and Red Tape” agenda.
