ConvenientMD, New England’s leading urgent care provider, recently donated $1,250 to the Webster House. This comes as a result of each of its pledge made earlier this fall to make donations corresponding with the number of flu shots given at each clinic. 40 ConvenientMD urgent care clinics and four ConvenientMD primary care locations across New England have made donations to a local charity in their community. ConvenientMD has both an urgent care clinic as well as a primary care office in Manchester. Both locations chose The Webster House to be their recipient for this year’s donation.

On December 11th, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) NH district office held its annual lender appreciation ceremony recognizing the top SBA lenders at the Manchester Historic Association’s Millyard Museum. The award program included welcoming remarks from Amy Bassett, SBA NH District Director, congratulatory remarks by Congressman Chris Pappas (D-NH-01), New Hampshire economic and workforce trends updates from Phil Sletten, Research Director at the NH Fiscal Policy Institute, and the presentation of awards by Tuesday Perkins, SBA NH Lender Relation Specialist. The room was at capacity with over 80 lenders participating.

The New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness (NHCEH) released its annual report, The State of Homelessness in New Hampshire, today, providing an analysis of statewide trends in homelessness based on available data for 2022. The report finds a marked increase in homelessness overall from 2021 to 2022 in New Hampshire and identifies significant increases in both chronic and unsheltered homelessness in the state.

The New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism  (DTTD) is anticipating an estimated three million people will visit New Hampshire this winter, with spending by those visitors expected to reach $1.5 billion. DTTD unveiled its winter marketing plan, along with forecast for visitation, as part of Ski New Hampshire’s winter kickoff event held at Prinoth in Concord.

Executive Councilor and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Cinde Warmington announced today that she has brought in $1 million since launching her campaign in June  – breaking the modern-day record for any New Hampshire gubernatorial campaign at this point in the race. As of the December 4 filing deadline, Warmington’s campaign has over $675,000 cash on hand.
