Today, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean announced his endorsement of Cinde Warmington’s campaign for the corner office. In addition to serving as governor, Dean was also the Chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), founded Democracy For America, and is known for his advocacy of progressive issues.
Today, Congressman Chris Pappas (D-NH-01) joined Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Anna M. Gomez and Southern New Hampshire Services CEO Donnalee Lozeau to discuss the importance of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and urged Congress to take action to restore funding for a program used by tens of thousands of Granite State families to afford internet access.Â
Kelly Ayotte, candidate for Governor, received endorsements on Wednesday from all three Sullivan County Commissioners — Bennie Nelson, George Hebert, and Joe Osgood along with County Attorney Marc Hathaway. Her visit comes amid the ongoing child care crisis in New Hampshire, in which nearly 1,500 child care slots have been lost since 2019 due to dozens of child care centers’ closing during the pandemic.
