The calm before the storm today with clouds increasing and less wind than yesterday with highs in the upper 30s. Late tonight snow will move in with 1-2″ for the morning commute tomorrow.

Today a weak low-pressure system tracks southeastward from the Great Lakes to southern New England and will be close enough to bring a few flurries or snow showers across mainly southwestern New Hampshire later this afternoon and tonight, leading to our first slick travel in spots for Monday morning.
High pressure strengthens across New Hampshire drifting eastward through the weekend. A weak upper disturbance tracks southeastward from the Great Lakes to southern New England and will be close enough to bring snow showers and flurries Sunday night.
Canadian high pressure will remain north of New Hampshire through the weekend, providing a cool and dry northerly feed of air. Further south near the Mid-Atlantic, low pressure will develop and could produce light snow showers or flurries Sunday night.
Today will be dry and mild with a brisk wind making the high of 48 feel like 40. Strong high pressure to our north supports mostly dry conditions this weekend with scattered flurries Sunday night.
