The COVID pandemic is affecting many communities but it is hitting women particularly hard. Over 805,000 women have left the workforce to take care of their remote learning children. Countless other women who are still employed fear that they will be punished for taking time off to care for sick children or family members.

By now there is more than enough evidence to show that PFOAs/PFAS do not belong in our water. The current level of PFOAs allowed is 70 ppt. Vermont, Minnesota, New York, and New Jersey have all independently and based on scientific research decided that that level is too high and have set lower limits to protect their residents.
