BEDFORD, NH – TACLABS, Inc. and Todd Lizotte, New Hampshire’s pioneering co-inventor of Intentional Firearm Microstamping (IFM™), proudly celebrate the momentous signing of SB 452 by Governor Gavin Newsom, a groundbreaking piece of legislation that mandates microstamping in California. This landmark law represents a significant stride towards bolstering gun safety measures and ensuring a safer environment for all Californians.

SB 452 requires all semiautomatic pistols sold in California to incorporate microstamping technology (IFM™). This innovative approach ensures that guns sold or transferred within the state by 2028 will transfer unique identifiers on expended cartridges, providing invaluable information to law enforcement agencies to identify firearm trafficking routes and sources.
